Our consulting engagements start with a structured audit of how your organisation currently operates: which processes are manual, where data lives and how well it is connected, what your website and customer-facing systems actually do today, and where staff time is spent on repetitive work. We interview the people who do the work, not just the people who manage it, because the gap between the two is usually where the real opportunity sits.

From that audit we produce a written roadmap that ranks opportunities by expected impact against effort and risk. This is deliberately not a generic AI maturity model with abstract scores. Each recommendation names the specific process, the specific tool or approach we would use, and a realistic view of what changes for staff and customers once it is in place.

Where clients want us to continue, we implement the roadmap ourselves, drawing on the same team and the same understanding of the business built during the audit. This avoids the common failure mode where a consulting firm recommends a direction and a separate implementation team, with no shared context, is left to interpret it.

AI consulting suits leadership teams who know they need to act on AI but are uncertain where to start, and who want an independent view before committing budget to a specific vendor or platform. It also suits organisations that have already tried a piecemeal automation or chatbot project that underdelivered, and want a structured plan before trying again.

We begin with a discovery call to understand scope and constraints, followed by a structured audit phase involving stakeholder interviews, a review of existing systems and data, and observation of current workflows where practical. This typically produces a findings document within a defined number of weeks, agreed at the outset.

The findings document is presented and discussed with your team before the final roadmap is written, so priorities can be adjusted based on constraints we might not know about, such as budget cycles, contractual commitments or team capacity. The final roadmap includes recommended sequencing, indicative effort, and clear next steps.

We do not recommend a single AI vendor or platform by default. Recommendations are based on what fits your existing systems, your data governance requirements and your team's ability to maintain what is built. Where a client already has significant investment in a particular platform, our roadmap works with that investment rather than proposing a wholesale replacement unless the audit clearly justifies it.

Governance is addressed explicitly in every roadmap: what data an AI system can access, how outputs are reviewed before reaching customers, and what happens when an automated process fails or produces an unexpected result. For regulated sectors such as legal and financial services, this includes specific attention to data residency and audit trails.

The direct outcome of a consulting engagement is clarity: a documented, prioritised plan that your organisation can act on with or without gAIcko as implementation partner. Where implementation follows, the outcome is a working system — an automation, agent, chatbot or platform — rather than a further round of recommendations.

We do not promise specific efficiency or revenue figures during the consulting phase, because those depend on how faithfully a roadmap is implemented and adopted. What we do commit to is that every recommendation is grounded in what we observed in your organisation, not a generic template.
